Why is no one addressing Biden's mental health problem?

The man is suffering from either Dementia or Alzheimer's!

He has been shown on video forgetting where he is, where his car is, where he is meant to be going and even forgetting Obama's name. The man is not well and after seeing both my grandparents go through this horrible decline in cognitive function, he should not be able to run for president. It is not only cruel to him but is very bad for us. My grandfather got so bad in only a matter of months that he was accusing his own daughter, my aunt, of stealing from him. He completely forgot who I was as well.

I know what you mean. To be honest, both democratic candidates don't seem very stable. This is just a joke at this point. But with the virus, who knows if any of the election process will even proceed as normal. I can see things being suspended for quite some time.

The liberal media has been calling Trump deranged, idiotic, dishonest, incompetent, etc. for years now non-stop, but they will never ever try to push that same narrative against someone like Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders. That's just how it is in this country. Media bias is real and it is a huge factor in politics.

Trump is a lot of things but he isn't stupid so I will give him that. I don't care for the man and didn't vote for him either but I would much rather get another 4 years of him in office than Biden who seems like he can lose his mind at any moment (also a known pedo) or Sanders who was born into money and can't even relate to the general public on anything. It seems like he could die at any moment as well. Neither are healthy or fit enough to run.

Between the virus and the people running, this year's election is going to be one heck of a s*** show! I hope everyone stocks up on popcorn so they have it ready. It is going to be a sloppy one!

I wish I could say I have popcorn but unfortunately, it is all sold out with most of the other things I enjoy. LOL

But yeah, it is going to be a mess to say the least. I am going to try not to stress too much over it.

Something I don't understand is why on earth do you need two men over 70 to run a country like America? Where are all the young dynamic people with new fresh ways of dealing with problems?

I read a theory somewhere that said that the world might still end up with Hillary Clinton as president. Suppose Joe Biden wins and takes Hillary as his running mate. Then after a while she has him declared senile and put in an old people's home while she becomes the new president.

What do you think? Far fetched?

Haha that would be a crazy scenario. I have to respectfully disagree with you on the first part though. Trump is old, yes, but he has brought forth a lot of fresh ideas and solutions to problems so far, and he has also looked at what we've done as a nation successfully in the past for inspiration.

I look more at policies than the individual. I feel like lower taxes, less regulations, a stronger military, stronger borders, and better-negotiated trade deals are all great things for the US. Trump isn't right on everything, but compared to the alternatives he's clearly the best option we have now on the table.

Good points, but then there's another thing that puzzles me,

You say, a strong military. And that is good if it is meant to defend the country.

Last year I met a politician in Copenhagen, Denmark who told me that if every country on earth would stick to the word "defense" we would all of a sudden get a totally different meaning of the word military.

Now the US defense budget is enormous, far too much for just defending the country. Which brings me to the next question: Has te US ever seen the need to defend itself agains invaders? Not that I can think of.

Or maybe that's why we have the new Spaceforce, for defense against alien invaders?

I think age doesn't matter when you consider the experience in different aspects. Like Trump has the most business experience I think we ever had in a president. Though the only thing I can think about now is them trying to get Biden in office and Hillary killing him to take his place. I still think that the Clintons among others paid to have Epstein killed.

That is a good point. But being the leaders of the free world, I think most of our spending is justified. I am not 100% sure about the history, but I believe our defense budget has grown a lot over the past couple of decades because of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And before that we had a spike in spending due to the whole Cold War situation.

A lot of our spending goes to buying and maintaining equipment, vehicles, weapons, ammo, etc. which are all extremely expensive. If World War 3 broke out, we would already have a ton of 'artillery' already at our disposal. Also, the United States has like 800 foreign military bases which have to be manned, armed, and maintained.

As for the Space Force, I think eventually it is going to be important to have military capabilities in space. I mean who knows, in the future our enemies (China? Russia?) could try to launch attacks on us (or our satellites) from space. It's definitely a possibility.

I agree that defense is important. But, if you look al all the US military bases abroad then I think that could be a lot less, thereby saving a lot of money that can be used elsewhere.

Yeah Biden seems to be off these days. Especially with how he's been accused of being creepy with young girls. Being all touchy/grabby. As well he stumbles on words a lot and doesn't always make sense.

I really don't think Biden has much of a chance if he goes up against Trump. I think it'd be the same story if Bernie gets there instead. I don't see anyone strong enough to defeat Trump.

Plus with this possible stimulus package coming, I think it will help Trump in his re-election.

But yeah, Biden is out of it these days. Maybe he does have Alzheimer's or something.

Sanders is making an a$$ of himself as of late. All the Democrats are right now. They care more about making Trump fail than the American people. Shame on them. They have money and they have time to sit around. The rest of us have to work and keep making a living. I have always considered myself a centrist but at this point, I am leaning more and more rightwing.

I agree that we could consolidate/shrink our number of bases abroad, but overall I think that it is a good thing that we have a strong presence in places like Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
