Making extra money on the side

Anybody know of any good side gigs that I could use to generate some extra money?

I was thinking about driving for Uber, but I am not sure I can handle drunk people all that well. Maybe blogging? I don't know if that even generates decent money anymore.

If anybody here is doing anything on the side for additional cash, please share with the class...

I know somebody who is driving for Amazon Flex and making really good money with it. About $25 an hour. There are some car-related expenses of course, and I don't know what area or city you're in, but I would say it's definitely worth looking into.

Get your real estate license! Great for extra cash and you will never really need a job again if you get on it properly and know how to hustle.....

I agree with Real estate licenses. My sister and her husband both have theirs and do it on the side. There is some good money in it.

Well of you like taking a risk there is a new way of making money on the side.

Lots of pharmaceutical companies are looking for guinea pigs to test new vaccines against the coronavirus they're developping.

There's companies in the UK and the US looking for volunteers. In some cases these volunteers would be injected with the coronavirus and other tests they would not. The first option pays the most, so if you're interested, you can read more details here.

Dang. I don't know if I would do that, even for over $4,000. I know that the virus is not a serious threat for young healthy people, but still.

When I was a bit younger I've done something similar, but not with a virus.

I was living in the UK at the time and there was a pharmaceutical company near Cambridge that was looking for volunteers, It took all in all two weeks, you had to spend a few nights as well but it paid really well.

It was a trial for a new type of medication which we had to take every day for a fortnight. Twice a day we got a medical and they took blood twice a day as well.

I never had any bad reaction, but got a lot wiser from the medics that examined me everyday. They were from the universtity and they could tell me exactly my situation and also which diseases I might or might not get.

Very useful and a nice bit of money, so I never regretted it.

My sister used to donate plasma. She would make an extra $300 to $400 a month. She said it was not too bad once they got the IV in. In fact, she looked forward to that time so she could read or relax.

Is that the same as donating blood? Or is it something completely different?

They separate the plasma from the blood. Sort of similar I think.
I used to be a blooddonor but stopped for some reason. I can't even remember the reason.

It's a pity I don't have blue blood, that would have been quite valuable I think.
