What browser do you have the best luck with when it comes to speed?

I am using Opera right now, but it is not as fast as it once was. Internet explorer is slow for me. Any good ones out there that I might try that work great for you?

I use Chrome but it can feel sluggish at times. However, I have pretty high-end hardware, both my phone and PC are fast. So I don't feel it as much as somebody with lower specifications would.

Chrome is known to be a memory hog for sure, but I can't switch to anything else. I tried going back to firefox, but each time I switched, it felt slower than chrome. I'm just so used to chrome at this point, that switching feels pointless. Plus I gotta move all my bookmarks, and settings and I'm just too lazy for that lol.

Isn't it funny that Microsoft Edge is now based on Chrome?

Same here. Chrome uses a lot of memory at times but it is still the fastest browser I've used. I will sometimes use Firefox if a website is not compatible with Chrome, but 98% of the time I use Chrome.

As far as Edge being based on Chrome, I didn't know that. That's kind of funny haha.

Opera has some very serious privacy issues so I would recommend switching immediately.
If you like Chrome-based browsers, Brave or Iridium are good choice.
As for myself, Firefox is the way forward. Gotta support the smaller guys! It's just as fast as Chrome and has all the extensions I need.

I am still Opera and for me it works fine. What are these privacy issues regarding Opera?
