Do you think it's too late to go to college again at 27?

I am considering it, and having my mom who went back to it at 35 and then did her PhD and everything, I think it would be a good thing. I plan to grow my coaching career from youth to senior team and for that I will probably need to go 3 years to a college to get the best basketball coaching licence.

27 is absolutely not too late to go to college. It's probably even better than doing it at 20, because you now know mucht better what it is you want.

So, go for it.

I did more or less the same thing when I was 27, gave up my job, went to college again and choose a totally different career.

No, it's never too late to further your education. When I was in college, I saw lots of people in their forties and fifties even.

Education is something that never really stops. It's a fluid thing, and necessary for anyone advancing or making a career change, for example. And those things can happen at any age.

I'm considering going back to college in the future. I went to college first when I was 23 or 24. Only stuck around for a year and then dropped out. Wasn't too into the college life, but would like to give it another go for a trade instead. Just not sure what I would do.

Not gonna chose a different career as I do not permit myself that, or at least there is a mental barrier of asking for money from my parents (I never did, went to college on a scholarship that gave me money and worked since I was 16). But yeah I think I will do it, risk it, life is short so let's do what we want :D

True that, true that!

Do what you like! I mean do something you enjoy enough to work on, as everything will be a grind, so everything comes into the same box, but if you like the box, you'll enjoy it more lol

Go for it! You can do it. I know a lot of people who went to college when they were older. My sister went when she had two young boys, and worked a full-time job. My friend's mom went when she was in her 50s. And I just read an article about a person going and graduating when she was 85!
