If you could pick one country to visit that you have not already been to before, what would it be and why?

-

There are so many places I'd like to go, but I think visiting Japan would be my first choice. For starters, the country is safe and has all the "first world" amenities (not that I don't want to visit "third world" countries too). I find their culture to be interesting and I'd like experience life there in person. What about you guys?

One of the countries I would like to visit is Peru.

The reason is that I think it has an enormous hidden hystory.

Things like the Nazca lines.

When I was young I used to read books written by Erich von Daniken, like Chariots of the Gods

Chariots of the Gods? Unsolved Mysteries of the Past (German: Erinnerungen an die Zukunft: Ungelöste Rätsel der Vergangenheit; in English, Memories of the Future: Unsolved Mysteries of the Past) is a book written in 1968 by Erich von Däniken and translated from the original German by Michael Heron. It involves the hypothesis that the technologies and religions of many ancient civilizations were given to them by ancient astronauts who were welcomed as gods.

I would like to investigate these mysterious things myself.

I think Iceland, or somewhere really exotic like Fiji. I had a stopover in Reykjavik once but I never left the airport, unfortunately.

As it happens, I came across a video yesterday of a place that's halfway between the UK and Iceland.

It's a group of Faroe Islands and if you're looking for some peace that might be the place to go.

It looks totally unspoilt, but then again, you might get bored there after a few days of peace and quiet.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to the day when I have the freedom to travel to all sorts of places. I'd love to visit different places in Europe.

I want to go to Japan, it looks super cool. Very futuristic and efficient. I am just curious how it all works and fits together there, like it always looks so busy and yet well-run.

When you're ready to go let me know and I'll be happy to give you some tips.

I am very familiar with Europe and I"m there at the moment.

I will put a picture here and let you guess which country.

Hell I'm fine staying right where I am... who needs to travel to be happy when you feel like you are a lucky man. The furthest I am going this year is Alabama, and even that is a big "maybe."
